The game delivers what it promises, but the rest just goes downhill, for the most part, not to say the game is BAD, it's not, but it does take many missteps. The game obviously did a good because it spawned two sequels: one for DS and the other for Wii. These features are in reality just gimmicks meant to utilize the touch and mic capabilities of the DS and to their credit, it works well. The game's main draw was that in order to obtain the many creatures you can collect and battle with in the game you must dig their fossils from the ground and awaken them first. Spectrobes is an action RPG developed by Buena Vista Games aka Disney Interactive and was clearly meant to cash in on the hype created by Pokemon Diamond and Pearl. Well, actually the boy is now a grown man and finally beat the game.

The game was fun for awhile until one boss completely stumped him and he gave up on the game forever. The boy begged his parents for it and he received it as a gift to entertain him on the family road trip.
#Spectrobes cards worth series
Its hype was everywhere, from Disney World demos and promos of the game to the game getting a web series on Disney's website the game looked amazing. One day while watching cartoons on the Disney channel the little boy came across a commercial for a Disney- licensed game called "Spectrobes" and it looked like Pokemon. The games, the tv series, the cards, the figurines, plushies, books, etc.

This is the story of a little boy in 2007 who was obsessed with Pokemon. I APOLOGIZE IN ADVANCE FOR THE SHITTY IMAGES THERE ARE NO GOOD ONES FOR THIS GAME.
